This is from Alexandroupoli, the most eastern major city in Greece.

Σχετικά με τις φωτογραφίες που ανέβασε ο Han Solo:

 

Η πρώτη είναι του 1961, περριλαμβάνεται στο άλμπουμ "Τα περίπτερα της Αθήνας 1943-1969". Στην δεύτερη, υπάρχει κρεμασμένο το Μεγάλο Μίκυ #55, που κυκλοφόρησε το 1971. Άρα κάπου από εκεί είναι και η φωτογραφία (σε συνδυασμό και με το μαλί του πελάτη που ήταν της μόδας τότε).

Ρωτάω για δύο λόγους. Καταρχήν, για τις φωτογραφίες ατόμων/ιδιοτών θα χρειαστεί και η συγκατάθεσή τους αν είναι να χρησιμοποιηθούν κάπου, δεν αρκεί να παρουσιαστεί απλά η φωτογραφία. Επιπλέον, γενικά βρίσκω καλό να ξέρω το σκεπτικό κάποιου που ζητάει κάτι προσωπικό, όπως οι παιδικές φωτογραφίες.

Please don't get me wrong, but what is the reason for asking for such photographs?

 

I'm asking for two reasons. Firstly, in order for you to use the photos of any person you have to get their consent first - simply having the photo is not enough. Moreover, I generally like knowing the reasoning of someone asking for something personal, like childhood photos.

 

Again, please don't get me wrong, I'd just like to avoid possible misunderstandings.

-The first is from 1961

-The second should be around 1971

 

Dr. Paingiver derived these facts by finding a certain Mickey Mouse issue in the second one (as well as the hairstyle, yeah), and the first one is from a book.

Well I am working on 2 articles concerning Greek comics books... one a interview with the famous Vassilis, the other a general one concerning the Greek Kabanas Hellas.... 

 

The original goal was to find Kabanas hellas books on the newsstand for my articles which I have not found much.... but I also asked Vassilis about images with him reading said Kabanas books. While I am waiting on him to get me some pictures I figured there had to be tons of images of young Greek youth reading comics books just in general. I found none... and then I found hardly any of even newsstands with comics of any sort.

 

This led me to a inquiry with tightwad just why there didn't seem to be many images of kids reading comics in Greece... which organically led to this thread. Im just curious is all.... and I thought it would be fun!

 

Never would I publish any image without consent.  And to be quite honest im figuring most of the images this thread will pop up will be super personal and not suitable for the article anyway. But, would just be fun to see.... 

 

Make sense? 

 

And if some images happen to be relevant to the article I will most assuredly ask permission! 

 

Unfortunately I dont have any images of myself reading comics as a youth.... but, just so you know my purpose of this thread is positive! I can contribute personally some amazing images of my son!

To further explain above I meant in my response the internet... there doesn't seem to be many Greek images of the sort on the internet....

 

see American or just in english the images are plentiful of kids reading comics....

I made an assumption the same would be true when I plugged those terms in Greek in google.... I was surprised to find that wasn't the case......  many images are just the same ones with english comics.... very few if any kids reading Greek comics. As an American I am used to finding imagery of pretty much any subject I can dream of on the internet. When I cant find something.... that intrigues me....

 

what can I say... im a spoiled brat when it comes to information.
