Όντως το όνομα είναι το λιγότερο σημαντικό αλλά αφού το δεύτερο θα έχει να κάνει με την Gotham City (νομίζω) ενώ το πρώτο είχε να κάνει με το Arkham Asylum μπορούσαν απλά να το βγάλουν Batman: Gotham City

Από την άλλη θα πάρουμε και μια ανάσα αυτό το χειμώνα και μπορεί να καθυστερήσει επειδή θέλουν να το κάνουν πιο μεγάλο από το πρώτο. Αν και ψιλοξενέρωσα προσωπικά λιγάκι: μιλάμε για 1 χρόνο και βάλε από τώρα...

Από την μια ξενέρωσα και εγώ που θα αργήσει τόσο να βγει αλλά από την άλλη καλύτερα για να μην το κάνουν βιαστικά και δεν βγει καλό. Ας πάρουν όσο χρόνο θέλουν αρκεί να μας δώσουν κάτι αντάξιο του πρώτου. Επεξεργασία Αυγούστου 5, 2010 από Straken

Αληθεύει τελικά, πέρα για πέρα, ανέβηκε και το κλασικό trailer στο επίσημο site, με το νέο τίτλο και τη νέα εποχή κυκλοφορίας. Καλό φθινόπωρο 2011.

 

Και ως αντιστάθισμα των "ξενέρωτων" νέων, δύο ασπρόμαυρα art με CATWOMAN, από το GameInformer, ενώ άνοιξε hub όπου θα μπει και μελλοντικά τέτοιο ωραίο υλικό!!!!!

- After taking power, Mayor Sharp declares Blackgate and Arkham unfit, and buys off a portion of the slums of Gotham. Walling off the area and calling it "Arkham City".

 

- Sharp then contracts a mercenary group called Tyger into defending the walls. The prisoners are only given one rule: "Don't try to escape", with the penalty for doing so being death. Beyond that, they can do whatever they want within.

 

- Hugo Strange heads the new Arkham, though it seems like this fact is cloaked in mystery to the outside world. Those who look into him disappear.

 

- A year passes. Two-Face is admitted into Arkham City and he realizes he has to make a move to assert himself in the new prison lest he be eaten alive. He captures Catwoman, figuring a public execution should do the trick.

 

- The Rocksteady team is aiming for a highly detailed city, on the level of what they did in the first game with Arkham itself.

 

- Gadgets can now be used during fights - the GameInformer article mentions Batman putting explosive el on the back of one of his opponents during a brawl.

 

- You can now pull off multiple counterattacks at the same time.

 

- Many of the super villains have formed gangs, and taken control of different portions of the city.

A Pile Of New Batman: Arkham City Details Leaked!

Hit the jump for loads of new details on the plot, location, gameplay and characters about the upcoming sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum...

Details from magazine, GameInformer, have been leaked online thanks to UK website CVG. Below are the some of the main points that they managed to get their hands on, all of which shed a lot more light on what to expect from the upcoming video game! - Most of the key gadgets that were unlocked late in the first game are available by default.

 

- Interrogations replace the Riddler maps of the first game.

 

- Batman can now taunt his enemies via a button press.

 

- Certain characters have optional sidestories within Arkham city (the article mentions Zsasz), that you can dig into.

 

- Harley has a new costume. From the article: "Instead of a nurse outfit, Harley now wears red and black pants, and a matching midriff-baring top. Her face paint has been scaled back to a much more subtle degree, and she now has a Joker tatoo on one of her hips peeking out over her waistband."

 

- Batman's been given a new gadget called the "broadcast analyzer". The article mentions several broadcasts Bats can listen in on, like the GCPD dispatch and Gotham FM. The main usage here has Batman tuning in to listen to a message left for him by the Joker.

 

- Oracle is missing, so Alfred is the one in Bruce's ear (at least at the beginning of the game)

 

- Rocksteady wouldn't detail their multiplayer plans.

Το Arkham City θα είναι 4 με 5 φορές μεγαλύτερο από το Arkham Asylum!!!!

Rocksteady boss Sefton Hill has revealed in a recent interview with PSM3 that the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Arkham Asylum (which is set to be released sometime next year) will be both open world AND linear.

 

When asked to define the game's genre, he said: "We don't want to define Arkham City as an open world or linear experience."

 

"While the backbone is still the strong main narrative, there'll also be many character-driven sub-plots to reward gamers who explore the streets," he added. "These optional side aspects will flesh out the story and show how many of Gotham's greatest villains have adapted to life inside a new facility."

 

"So overall, there are elements of both a linear story and more open world adventure. I believe this combination will give the game a completely unique feel while remaining unmistakably authentic to Batman."

Καλοοοο. btw μην διαβάσετε το description πριν δείτε το video,χαλάει την έκπληξη. (edit : κααααιι τωρα ειδα οτι λεει και στον τιτλο ποιος ειναι.....awesome )

Δηλαδή αυτή την φορα θα δούμε και λιγότερο γνωστούς κακούς (πρώτη φορα έμαθα για αυτόν από τα files του πρώτου παιχνιδιού)

Επειδή έτσι πρέπει να φτιάχνονται τα trailers!

Ωραίο το trailer αλλά πότε θα μας δείξουν και κανένα βίντεο με την μηχανή γραφικών του παιχνιδιού για να ξέρουμε τι να περιμένουμε?

Άμα είναι σαν του προηγουμένου μια χαρά θα είναι η μηχανή γραφικών.Ούτως η άλλως Batman είναι το παιχνίδι ,όχι Crysis

Ωραίο το trailer αλλά πότε θα μας δείξουν και κανένα βίντεο με την μηχανή γραφικών του παιχνιδιού για να ξέρουμε τι να περιμένουμε?

Αν θυμάμαι καλά, χρησιμοποιεί μια βελτιωμένη εκδοχή της Unreal Engine 2. Αυτή την μηχανή χρησιμοποιεί και το πρώτο.

Προφανως τα γραφικα θα ειναι πανω κατω ιδια με το προηγουμενο με καποιες βελτιωσεις.Το θεμα ειναι κατα ποσο θα αλλαξουν πραγματα στο gameplay κανοντας τον batman να χρησιμοποιει περισσοτερα gadgets η και διαφορετικες κινησεις παλης σε σχεση με το προηγουμενο.Ε αμα εχει και μπολικα cameos απο το συμπαν της dc δεν θα πειραξει κιολας.Εγω αυτα θα θελα να δω στο παιχνιδι.(κ μεγαλυτερη διαρκεια στο παιχνιδι γιατι το προηγουμενο τελειωσε χωρις καλα καλα να το καταλαβω).

Nαι η παλη στο προηγουμενο παιχνιδι ηταν πολυ καλη και θυμιζε το στυλ παλης του Batman του Nolan.Απλα μπορουν να βαλουν και αλλες κινησεις και να το εμπλουτισουν ακομα περισσοτερο.Ποιος ο λογος να κανεις sequel αμα δεν βελτιωσεις/αλλαξεις καποια πραγματα?Αυτο και περισσοτερα gadgets.
