Hello there! :)

I guess that you are talking about this series http://www.greekcomics.gr/forums/index.php?showtopic=455 (with these covers http://www.greekcomics.gr/forums/index.php?app=covers&cov_id=1140 ). Finding *just* these issues will not be the easiest thing in the world :) However, these issues were collected into "trade paperbacks" with two issues per volume (check the covers here http://www.greekcomics.gr/forums/index.php?app=covers&cov_id=2406 ).... Now, the "tpb" should not be *that* difficult to get. The following bookstore says that it is selling them http://www.protoporia.gr/advanced_search_result.php/search/quick_find?keywords=%CE%BD%CF%84%CF%85%CE%BB%CE%B1%CE%BD+%CE%BD%CF%84%CE%BF%CE%B3%CE%BA&x=0&y=0 Their contact information is found here http://www.protoporia.gr/contact_us.php (I guess that info @ protoporia.gr is the right e-mail address). I am not certain whether they ship to Italy, but you can always make some inquiries.

Of course, it could be that as a Dylan Dog collector, you want the 8 individual issues and not the "collected ones".... Now, *that* will be a tough one. Personally I have the collected ones and I don't thing I have ever seen the individual issues.

Furthermore, let me inform you (just in case :) ) that there have been 5 more translations. The "presentation"is here http://www.greekcomics.gr/forums/index.php?showtopic=5301 and the corresponding covers are here http://www.greekcomics.gr/forums/index.php?app=covers&cov_id=593 (as you can see, they have 2 stories each. One Dylan Dog and one Dampyr)

:cheers5:

Ciao Luigi.

Germanicus ha ragione quando dice che non sara' facile trovare questi fumetti.

Pero' se ne verro' a sapere qualcosa o trovo qualcosa cercando per vecchi fumetti, ti faro' sapere.

I did a quick search and from what I've seen, the only Dylan Dogs (Mamouth Comics editions) that have been swapped/sold in this forum, were the TPB/Collected editions. And that's 5 years worth of data...

There are 2 online auction sites, where you *might* find them at some point...

http://www.ricardo.g...dika/l/cn57948/

and

http://www.ibid.gr/V...p?CategoryId=28

(on the second one, they should appear either here http://www.ibid.gr/V...?CategoryId=819 or here http://www.ibid.gr/V...?CategoryId=832 or here http://www.ibid.gr/V...?CategoryId=829 or here http://www.ibid.gr/V...?CategoryId=828 )

However, I must warn you that (a) these might be *auction* sites, but most of the people who sell there, have absolutely no idea of the real value of what they sell, and they usually demand exorbitant amounts of money as if they were selling Action Comics #1...... and (b) most of them are so ignorant of their "merchandise" and of how a collector's mind works (apart from the fact that he is willing to give money for something he deeply desires :) ) and therefore they could be selling copies they ripped of the collected TPBs as regular copies.... I have seen it with other issues/comics. ... for example I have a couple of issues of the Greek edition of La Storia Del West http://www.greekcomi...?showtopic=2130 that were ripped from "collected TPBs" editions and that the seller had no understanding that to me this was a different item than a regular issue.

Just in case, the collected TPBs I am talking about are not an entirely different product. In reality, the editor took his stock, ***glued*** it together, threw some new cover and tried reselling it. It was not cheating, since we all knew what it was and it has been a long tradition/way of selling what has been left. So, if you ever decide to buy the 4 TPBs, you will in reality be buying the 8 individual issues, glued together in bundles of two. (As you can plainly understand, this method of "dealing" with unsold issues by the publisher, goes a long way towards explaining why finding the 8 individual issues intact is very very difficult for everyone. Further on, keep in mind that in the Greek market, peculiar as it may sound, that difficulty will never give cause to really exorbitant prices.... I can understand why Italian lovers/collectors of Dylan Dog items will be willing to price them differently amongst them, but this does not apply amongst Greeks (supply and demand rules are in effect here too, but the demand is not that high ;) ))

good luck

: cheers5:

ps further on, do get in touch with the guy over here http://www.mycomics.gr/ ... He deals in used/old comics and he might be helpful in your quest.
