I am a MAD collector in New York. I am looking for MAD 1996 #0. This was a test magazine made before #1 was released. If anyone has this or can help me find it please let me know. Does anyone have information on these? Are the Specials and Super Specials different? I am looking for some of these for my MAD collection. I also need the Greek Spy vs Spy paperback. I am still looking for a few Greek items, 1st edition #20, the Spy vs. Spy book and any of the bound editions and specials. This site has been so helpful with my search. Well, now I have a few of the books I was looking for! Thank you again Kostas, they are great! I am still looking for a good condition copy of ΚΑΤΑΣΚΟΠΟΣ ΕΝΑΝΤΙΟΝ ΚΑΤΑΣΚΟΠΟΥ and I am also looking for the Specials and bound issues. Thank you for any help. Thanks everyone! I am really enjoying this group. I have seen some Greek magazines on eBay and I bought in the past. I just haven't seen the items I am looking for. I have the #1 issues of both editions, I guess that is always my first priority. After that I look for paperback books, bound sets of magazines and then assorted other issues (the last issues from editions, covers I like or own artwork too, I need #20 from the first edition). My priority now is the 3 paperback books (pocket books) and bound magazines. I look forward to speaking with many of you. I am hoping to find some of the items on my wish list, but I am also happy to try to help anyone with their collections. I do know there is a lot going on in your country right now. I watch and read the news every day. I don't know how much it impacts the day-to-day lives of everyone as I just can't tell that from the news, but I do hope you are all doing well and that there is a positive solution to this very soon. I find my MAD collection can often be a nice escape and give me some happiness during tough times, I hope this board does the same for everyone out there. -Jason

Great stuff. I had never seen these before. Other countries have also bound issues together and sold them. In Germany they had 3 issue sets, in Italy 4 issues and in Sweden and Norway they bound them by the year. I had never seen the Greek ones. Love the #1 from 1981. Something new to look for...

Very well said! Al Feldstein really created the MAD that was so popular and what we still know today, even though Harvey Kurtzman gets much of the credit. Are you a MAD collector or all comics and felt Al Feldstein's death was a noteworthy event? Would love to meet a MAD collector in Greece. Πολύ καλά είπε ! Thank you for letting me into the group! I am a longtime collector of MAD magazines from New York. I have collected the 1st issues from all around the world, along with many of the items from the United States. I am now looking for paperback books from each country. I will post more about that in the "wanted" group, but if you have any of the Greek paperbacks please let me know.
